Return & Exchange Guide (Store Credit)

Request of return, refund and exchange must be made to us by email within 3 days of receiving your goods sales@theblay.co.nz

Return to Webstore:

  • Firstly please contact us on sales@theblay.co.nz to start the return process.
  • Ensure the product is in original condition and original packaging.
  • Return the product within 3 days from the date of dispatch. (Including your invoice or packing slip as proof of purchase.)

Upon receiving the product, we will take the required action which includes thorough testing of the goods to ensure that the item has not be altered or tampered with in any way.

We will review this on a case-by-case basis, and we hold the right to refuse a return if we deem to be unsatisfactory.

TheBlay allows exchanges (to another size or style) provided the item bought will be returned within three days from delivery and in good condition unworn and undamaged, with its original tag and packaging. Items can be exchanged with on hand items only on the items Regular Price, not Preordered items, subject to current on hand availability.

All Shipping fees will be shouldered by the client. TheBlay WILL ONLY ACKNOWLEDGE RETURNS FOR ANY ITEM THAT IS DEFECTIVE OR DAMAGED AND IS SUBJECT TO INVESTIGATION OR IF THE ITEM RECEIVED IS DIFFERENT FROM WHAT WAS ORDERED. WE WILL NOT ALLOW OR ACKNOWLEDGE RETURNS OR EXCHANGE FOR THE REASON THAT CLIENTS CHANGED THEIR PREFERENCE.

The following items are final and may not be returned or exchanged: JEWELLERY, SHOES,CLOTHES,SALE ITEMS, PREORDERED ITEMS.

 Any shipping costs will be shouldered by the buyer and price difference will not be refunded.

Cancellation of order

CANCELLATION: WHILE WE DO NOT ALLOW CANCELLATION OF PREORDERED ITEMS, IN THE EVENT THE CLIENT’S ORDER IS NOT YET ON HAND AFTER 8 WEEKS, WE WILL HONOUR A FULL REFUND REQUEST. PERSONAL CHANGES OF LIFE’S CIRCUMSTANCES THAT WILL AFFECT THE PAYMENT OF YOUR ORDERS IS IN NO WAY THEBLAY’S BUSINESS. HOWEVER, WHILE WE UNDERSTAND UNPRECEDENTED SITUATIONS, WE WILL ONLY ALLOW PAYMENT EXTENSION UP TO 3 WEEKS ADDING UP TO YOUR TOTAL 12 WEEKS PAYMENT. IF THE PAYMENT IS NOT SETTLED WITHIN THE GIVEN TIMEFRAME YOUR PAYMENTS WILL BE FORFEITED AND YOU WILL BE NOTIFIED THROUGH YOUR EMAIL.

ALL SALES AND SPECIAL PROMOTIONS ARE FINAL SALE, NO RETURNS, NO EXCHANGE OR CANCELLATION.

ANY CANCELLATION WILL RESULT TO FORFEITED OF PAYMENT.

WE HIGHLY ENCOURAGE FOR CLIENTS TO ASK FOR VIDEOS/PHOTOS OF THEIR ORDERS BEFORE PROCESSING FOR SHIPPING TO ENSURE THE PERFECT QUALITY AND CONDITION OF THE ITEM YOU’RE PURCHASING.

TRACKING, MONITORING OF PARCEL IS THE RECIPIENT’S RESPONSIBILITY. ONCE ORDER HAS BEEN DISPATCHED FROM OUR STOCK ROOM, THEBLAY IS NO LONGER RESPONSIBLE WITH ANY COURIER PROBLEMS BUT WE WILL ASSIST AND HELP YOU IF YOU NEED OUR ASSISTANCE. 

Any eligible request for an order cancellation will incur a 20% charge from your total bill.

Items on sale is ineligible for return/exchange. You can request a video/photo of the item before we process the order for shipping.

-Please allow 7 business days for us to assess and process your return once received by us.

-All Refund will be processed within 10 business days.

– Shipping is at the expense of the customer on all exchanges.

– All returned items/exchanges will be compensated by non-expiring store credit only.

Sale items

All sales are final, orders are exempt from cancellation. No Returns and No Exchange.

Pre-order items:

All sales are final, orders are exempt from cancellation. Exchange of order to instock items is eligible except Rings, Shoes or any Item with customisation.
